Types of paragraphs
Chronologic Paragraph
• Expresses the order in which a series of events have taken place.
Descriptive paragraph
• Describes animals, people, things or events.
• It follows a logical criteria.
Explanatory paragraph
• Offers mre detailed information onthe topic at hand.
Expository paragraph
• Explains or clarifies problems based on evidence and objective language.
• The main idea is to inform people ofmcertain topic.
Argumentative paragraph
• Tries to persuade or convince through reasons, facts, or opinions something
that is either affirmative or negative.
Narrative Paragraph
• It retells the stories or gives background information of past events.
• In order to contextualize the reader.
Comparative Paragraph
• Shows differences or similarities between two or more objects, opinions, or
any other event
