History of television Thefirst TV was invented in the US by Charles Francis Jenkins in the year 1925 The American Telephone and Telegraph Company (AT&T) gave the public a demonstration of TV in 1927 In 1928, The General Electric Company (GE) started showing regular television shows. The Federal Communications Commission approved Columbia Broadcasting Station’s colour television. Digital television made its first appearance in 1990s by NHK (Japan’s Public Television Network) Digital television continued growing until today and produced by a lot of companies such as Samsung, Sony and many more.
