The Dispute
 In the spring of 2003 after invasions of the American troops into Iraq. Turkish
public opinion has opposed this war, and the parliament of the country has
refused to provide the territory to armed forces of the USA. Israel has
supported power overthrow of S. Hussein. Moreover, after end of active
operation phases official Tel Aviv contrary to expectations of Turkey became it
is active to support creation of the Kurdish autonomy in the north of Iraq.
 In January, 2010 the relations between Ankara and Tel Aviv became aggravated
even more because of the diplomatic scandal connected with display on the
Turkish television of series "Valley of Wolves", initiating, according to Tel Aviv,
hatred to Israel. The Turkish Foreign Ministry withdrew from the country of the
ambassador also demanded explanations. Sharp sounded statements and from
the top management of Turkey
The first Steps of Relations
 In March, 1949 Turkey the first among the Muslim countries officially
recognized again formed State of Israel, and in December the same year
established with it diplomatic relations which were based on common interests
in political and military and technical spheres.
 First, the begun dialogue between Palestinians and Israelis strengthened hope
for an achievement of peace in the Middle East. And Turkey in new conditions
of Middle Eastern geopolitics aimed to develop friendly communications with
both parties.
 Secondly, Turkey needed assistance pro-Israeli lobby in the American congress
not to allow discussion of a question of genocide of Armenians and the
solution of the Cyprian problem not in own favor. Ankara also used support of
Israel in adjustment of the relations with the EU.
 Thirdly, rapprochement of Ankara with Tel Aviv was promoted by those the
fact that both countries had problems in the relations with the general
neighbors (mean support of activity of RPK of adjacent nearby the states, the
conflicts with Syria because of distribution of cross-border water resources,
and also difficult relations with Iraq and Iran).
Military-Political Cooperation
 In spite of the fact that to a military-political cooperation between Ankara and Tel
Aviv almost all their neighbors very were negative, interests of both states in the
field of safety forced them to continue contacts in this sphere, cooperation
between Ankara and Tel Aviv almost all their neighbors very were negative,
interests of both states in the field of safety forced them to continue contacts in
this sphere, especially in such vital question, as joint fight against terrorism. The
military and technical cooperation always played priority role in the Turkish-Israeli
relations. Within the agreement signed in February, 1996, Turkey opened the
airspace for training flights of the Israeli fighting aircraft and adjusted exchange of
cadets between national military academies.
Economic Cooperation
 In March, 1996. the parties signed the free-trade agreement which was
ratified in May, 1997 13 in the period from 1996 to 2010 a business volume
between the countries the amount of Turkish grew from 446 million to 3,4
billion dol.14, and import from Israel in 2010 constituted 1,4 billion (its
most part fell on purchases of arms and military technologies). The Turkish
export to Israel reached 2 billion a dale.
 In 2006 Turkey and Israel began negotiations on construction of a bus
system on a bottom of the Mediterranean Sea.
Common Strategic Goals
 Ankara and Tel Aviv agreed also to exchange prospecting information and
strategic assessments of the situation in the region. Israelis gave help of Turkey
in strengthening of its borders with the neighboring Arab countries and Iran,
including enhanced network radio engineering investigation in border areas
for fight against the Kurdish terrorists.
 Deepening of a military and technical and political cooperation with Turkey
forced Israel to change the policy for Kurds, communications with whom Tel
Aviv actively developed from the middle of the 60th. 20th century within the
"peripheral strategy" developed by the first prime minister of Israel D. Ben
Gurion. It provided forming in the region friendly to Israel of alliance with the
non - Arab countries and ethnic groups. In line with this strategy for Tel Aviv
Kurds whose primordial territories are divided between Iran, Turkey, Syria and
Iraq were of special interest. Israelis established close ties with leaders of the
Kurdish movement in these countries, supporting them in fight against
authorities
Conclusion
 The fast “growing” relations between Turkey and Israeli and fast “lowering”
was already “planned” by Turkish Government. By this cooperation, we can
see, how Turkey’s strategy was well thought-out plan by which Turkey
benefited. It has proved not only economic sphere, the core is – military
sphere.
