Henry the 7th
Henry the 7th became king on the 22nd of August 1485
when he beat king Richard the 3rd in the battle of
Bosworth between Yorkshire and Lancashire.
In the battle of Bosworth Henry the 7th was on the
Lancashire side and he had a red rose as a symbol while
the people on the side of Yorkshire had a white rose.
Henry the 7th had one son and because he wanted to be
remembered he called his son Henry.
Henry the 8th
Henry the 8th became king on the 21st of April 1509.
Henry the 8th loved sport and until he ate too much food
he would play it in the grounds of Hampton Court.
Henry the 8th had six wives called Catherine Parr,
Catherine Howard,Jane Seymour, Anne of Cleves, Anne
Boleyn and Catherine of Aragon.
Henry the 8th had one son and two daughters called
Edward, Mary and Elizabeth.
Edward the 6th
He was crowned on the 12th of October 1937.
He was next in line because he was Henry the 8th only
son.
He was very ill a lot of the time.
Lady Jane Grey
She became queen on the 10 of July.
She was only queen for 9 days.
She was killed at the tower of London by Mary’s
executioner.
Mary the 1st
Mary the 1st became queen on the 18th of February
1516.
Her nickname was bloody Mary because of all the heads
she chopped off.
She was the best known tudor queen for executing
people including Lady Jane Grey.
Elizabeth the 1st
Elizabeth the 1st was crowned on the 15th of January 1559.
She had an amazing poet called William Shakespeare who
invented knock knock jokes,Romeo and Juliet and Richard the
3rd. This last one was probably eggasuated because she was
performing it in front of Richard the 3rd enemy’s granddaughter.
She was a very ugly woman.
She was the last tudor queen so when she died on March the
24th 1603 the tudor reign was over.
