The document contains a passage from Ephesians 6:10-24 discussing spiritual warfare and the armor of God. It explains that Christians are in a spiritual battle against Satan and demons, not other people. It describes the six pieces of armor mentioned in Ephesians - the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shoes of the gospel, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and sword of the spirit (word of God). It emphasizes the importance of knowing the enemy (Satan), knowing our king (Jesus Christ) who gives us strength, and using the spiritual weapons and armor provided to withstand attacks.

The document summarizes some of the major promises God made to the Israelites in the Old Testament. These include:
1) The promise of salvation and God's plan to save the world through the Messiah.
2) The promise to never again destroy all life with a flood.
3) The promise to make Abraham into a great nation and give them the land of Canaan.

The Ten Commandments and Mosaic Law are not included because they represented conditional agreements between God and Israel, where disobedience would
This passage discusses the nature of sin and righteousness. It states that sin is contrary to God's word and nature, while righteousness only comes through Jesus Christ. It argues that those who are born of God through faith in Jesus do not sin, because God's spirit remains in them, though the flesh still struggles with sin. True believers must submit their minds and thoughts to God's spirit and walk according to the spirit rather than the flesh.
Girt Your Loins In Truth - Ephesians 6:14aDavid Turner
Paul tells the Ephesian Christians to girt their loans in truth. One's loins is the center of one being. It is the place stability. In a world which runs on the current of popular opinion it's often difficult to discern truth. Is is found in science, or philosophy, or politicians or power. Real truth is found in Jesus Christ who proclaimed, "I am the way, the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father accept through me." This is the truth that Paul encourages the Ephesians gird their loins with. It's the same truth we ought to hold tight to our core. This document discusses the "Helmet of Salvation" mentioned in Ephesians 6:17. It begins by providing context on helmets from the time of Paul and how they protected the mind. It then explores how the Helmet of Salvation protects our thoughts from temptation in three categories: lust of the eyes (mental temptation), lust of the flesh (giving into impulses), and pride of life. It emphasizes the importance of replacing ungodly thoughts with godly thoughts from scripture. The key takeaway is that we cannot control the length of our lives but can control its depth by keeping the Helmet of Salvation on to protect our minds from Satan's attacks through temptation.
Isaiah 9:6-7 His name will be called or He would be known as counselor. He is a counselor who understands your struggles. He is a counselor who cares for you. He is a counselor who is committed to you.

The document discusses Paul's message in his letter to the Romans about salvation. It explores several key points:
1) That being a child of God is not determined by physical descent but by God's promise, and that Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated, showing God's sovereignty in election.
2) That God has mercy on whom He wills and hardens whom He wills, demonstrating His sovereignty and that salvation is not by human will but by God.

The Clarion Call to Trust God - Joshua 11Mike Duco
Joshua and the Israelites faced a large coalition of enemy kings who gathered together to fight against them. However, God assured Joshua that he would deliver all of the enemy into their hands. The next day, Joshua and his warriors surprised the enemy forces and, with God's help, utterly defeated them as God had promised. Joshua then carried out God's commands to fully conquer the land and its inhabitants, demonstrating his complete trust and obedience to God.

The document summarizes key points from Ephesians 1:15-23 about having hope and success through God's power. It discusses three ways believers can access God's power: 1) Through better knowledge of God, 2) By understanding their rich inheritance as God's children, and 3) By relying on God's incomparably great power. The power is demonstrated through Christ's resurrection and position over all things for the benefit of the church.

- Muslims believe Jesus was a mighty messenger of God, but not the son of God. They believe he was born miraculously to Mary by God's will, similar to Adam's creation from dust.
- The document discusses several Christian claims that Jesus is the son of God, but provides counterarguments from the Quran and Bible showing the terms "son" and "begotten son" are metaphorical and also applied to other prophets. It argues Jesus' lack of a father does not make him divine.
- Overall, the document aims to explain the Muslim view that while they respect Jesus, he was a human prophet and not equal to God or the only path to salvation, contradicting some Christian doctrines.
Knowledge makes people arrogant. This concept seems to be completely different from the world’s thinking. If I learn more, then I should know the breadth of knowledge. I should be like a learned person, and I should be more humble. But why the Bible said so, if this is a truth that violates the rules of the world. In this chapter, let us carefully look for the truth of the Bible for detail analysis.
Here are the key points of reflection on the Thanksgiving Day lectionary readings:
- God's steadfast love and mercy are new every morning. Even in times of suffering, His faithfulness endures.
- We are called to pray for all people, especially those in authority, so that Christians may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and dignity.
- Jesus heals 10 lepers, but only one returns to give thanks. Gratitude is essential for receiving God's blessings.
- We praise God, who blesses us, and all the peoples on earth fear Him. His ways are just and upright.
- Through Scripture, God sustains our lives with His Word of hope
All people have dreams. Some can take their dreams and turn it into reality. What is your dream and how can you make it happen. If your dream is God centered rather than self centered, you have the power to make you dream happen.
The document contains notes from a Sunday school class discussing the book of Acts. It covers topics like the scattering of the early church after persecution, Philip's evangelism in Samaria, and his encounter with an Ethiopian official. Key principles of evangelism are summarized as: don't assume anyone is beyond God's power, rely on the Holy Spirit, be willing to go where God leads, use Scripture, and be ready to share the gospel in any situation.
1) Samuel learned to recognize God's voice after Eli instructed him to say "Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening" whenever he heard God call his name.
2) It is essential for Christians to be able to discern God's voice from other noises in order to understand and do His will.
3) God speaks through Scripture, circumstances, dreams, visions, angels, and the gifts of the Holy Spirit like prophecy, wisdom and discernment. Maintaining a close relationship with God through prayer and obedience helps us recognize His voice.

A Journey exploring few of the living signs and prophecies in the Old and New testament that assures the authenticity of the final revelation "Quraan".
This document discusses the secret to effective prayer according to Jesus. It states that Jesus taught that true prayer requires going into a private place alone to commune with God, recognizing His presence there. When people pray, they are entering God's presence, so they must do so with reverence and avoid empty repetitions. The secret is realizing that God is everywhere at all times, not confined to any place. Effective prayer involves consciously acknowledging God's omnipresent nature.

The document discusses the importance of spiritual disciplines, particularly engaging with scripture, for spiritual growth and godliness. It provides biblical passages that encourage regular reading, meditating on, and internalizing God's word. Specific disciplines mentioned include setting aside dedicated time and space for Bible intake, having a reading plan, taking notes, and using lectio divina - a method of spiritual reading that incorporates reading, meditating, conversing with God, and resting in scripture. The goal of these disciplines is to move beyond just gaining information to true formation through regularly encountering God in his word.
The document discusses how believers can maintain spiritual stability through rejoicing in the Lord. It says that knowing God through studying His attributes in Scripture allows Christians to rejoice even during hard times. It also emphasizes having a gentle spirit and remembering that the Lord is near provides stability, encouraging believers not to be anxious but to cast their cares on God through prayer. Maintaining a right view of God's greatness, love, and power enables one to stand firm in their faith.
David is nearing the end of his life and charges his son Solomon to be strong and prove himself a man by keeping God's commands, statutes, and laws so that he may prosper. The sermon defines what makes a true man - it is not things like fighting or sexual exploits but rather following righteousness, godliness, and obedience to God. A real man draws from the deep wellspring of God's wisdom in scripture and fights the good fight of faith.
The document discusses the purpose and nature of trials in life according to scripture. It states that trials are generic, necessary to strengthen faith, come with limits in intensity and duration, can take various forms physically/emotionally/financially/relationally/spiritually, and ultimately serve to strengthen faith and qualify believers for rewards in heaven.
This document provides details about an upcoming Old Testament Sunday School lesson and contact information for the teacher, Daniel Burgess. It then shares the outline and content of the lesson titled "Happy Is the Man That Findeth Wisdom". The lesson discusses topics like wisdom, trust in the Lord, friendship, raising children, and happiness. It includes several scripture references from Proverbs.
This document provides commentary on Philippians 4:4-7. It discusses how spiritual stability comes from knowing God and rejoicing in Him rather than circumstances. True joy and contentment are found by meditating on God's character and promises in Scripture. Christians are commanded to have gracious humility toward others and not to be anxious because the Lord is near to help through all of life's troubles. Relying on God builds confidence even when difficult times come.
This document discusses why Christians should study the Bible. It provides several reasons:
1) To show ourselves approved by God as workers who do not need to be ashamed by rightly dividing the word of truth.
2) So that ministers can properly distribute God's word to meet the needs and circumstances of their listeners.
3) So believers will have reasons for their faith and hope in God that they can provide to anyone who asks.
The document discusses faith and encourages taking leaps of faith like those mentioned in Hebrews 11. It references stories of faith from the Bible and urges readers to strip away anything holding them back from fully trusting in God. The writer commits to taking a leap of faith, trusting God to lead and use them.
This document is a summary of a Sunday worship service focused on trusting God. It includes several Bible verses exhorting believers to trust in God with all their heart and not rely on their own understanding. It notes that trusting God is as important as obeying God, as distrust shows doubt in his sovereignty and goodness. The document provides reasons why one can trust God, such as that he is conscious of our needs, concerned for us, and capable. It encourages putting trust in God's unfailing love and not being afraid, as he will never forsake those who seek him. The overall message is that believers should fully rely on and acknowledge God in all ways, and he will make their paths straight.
To have a lethal faith in your battle against sin, you must store up Scripture deep within.

The seeing are blind, while the one who is blind can see. Jesus tells the twelve disciples that he will suffer, die and rise again in Jerusalem, but they do not understand. However, a blind man calls out to Jesus as the Son of David and asks for mercy. Jesus is the Lord's anointed who lays down his life for the sheep. He is the incarnate love of the Father who suffers long and is kind. Jesus opens the eyes of the blind to see him not by outward appearances but by faith in his mercy and compassion. Those who behold him by faith follow him to the cross and into life.
The "Learning and Living the God-centered life" had a retreat in which the theme was The Gospel. Here is our Friday night teaching was specifically designed to exhort each of us to stay steadfast in Christ!
The document discusses overcoming fear through having a close relationship with God. It encourages enlarging one's vision, strengthening resolve, and not being afraid as God will be with believers. It highlights how Joshua overcame fear by learning from Moses' example of walking closely with God. It emphasizes choosing God over the world by having faith in Him through prayer, God's word, and making Him the priority in decisions. Sin creates fear but confessing and repenting restores fellowship with God.
The document discusses overcoming fear through having a close relationship with God. It encourages enlarging one's vision, strengthening resolve, and not being afraid as God will be with believers. It highlights how Joshua overcame fear by learning from Moses' example of walking closely with God. It emphasizes communicating with God daily through prayer, worship, and his word to develop friendship with him and make him part of every decision. Choosing God means not fearing people or circumstances because he is for believers. Faith and fear cannot coexist, and faith comes from God's word.
The document discusses the biblical book Song of Solomon and its themes of marriage and God's relationship with his people. It notes that Song of Solomon is part of the Hebrew Bible, was written by Solomon, and contains an allegorical love story between Solomon and his bride that represents God's love for his people. The document also discusses passages from the Old and New Testaments that reference marriage as a metaphor for God's relationship with believers.
The document discusses the importance of trusting fully in God rather than relying on one's own understanding. It provides several Bible verses exhorting believers to trust in God with all their heart and seek his will. When people trust God, he directs their paths and keeps them safe. In contrast, depending on one's own wisdom is dangerous. The document encourages reading God's word to understand his will, praying for guidance, sacrificing one's will to God's, and trusting that he will answer and direct believers' paths.
The document discusses why Christians should encourage one another. It provides several Bible verses explaining that encouragement is important to prevent people from being hardened by sin, to help those who are disheartened, and to build each other up in Christ. The document also discusses how encouragement should be done carefully, with the right preparation, awareness, example, mood, motives, and use of both grace and truth.

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

The Book of Ruth is included in the third division, or the Writings, of the Hebrew Bible. In most Christian canons it is treated as one of the historical books and placed between Judges and 1 Samuel.
1. Proverbs 3:5, 6 –
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
nd lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge Him,
and he shall direct thy paths.
2. What does this verse mean?
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart” –
This is the center and marrow of true wisdom
Don’t confide in SELF but in GOD.
God directs our paths when His wise aid is
sought.

3. WHY should we live a life of dependence upon God?
•because that is the way to be safe (v. 5).
•Because that is the way to be happy(v. 1-4)
•Because that is the way to be healthful (v. 7, v. 8).
• because that is the way to be rich (v. 9, v. 10).
•because that is the way to gain wisdom,
and to be gained by her (v. 13-20).
4. How should we trust in him and lean on him, and let our
paths be directed?
by faith
by prayer.
Eg., Joseph, a man of
great faith and prayer.
5. He was hated by his brothers. He was sold to the Midianites,
who later sold him to Potiphar, an Egyptian official.
6. Potiphar’s carnal
wife eyed him and
falsely accused him
of being in an illicit
relationship with
her which put him
behind bars.
Here he was
scorned by the
other prisoners for
the undone crime.
7. And he was promoted to being the second ruler of the country.
God’s wisdom helped him interpret Pharaoh's dreams.
8. 1. By faith
Joseph rested his entire
confidence in the
o wisdom,
o power, and
o goodness of God, assuring
himself that His providence
has planned.
We must believe that he is
• able to do what he will,
• wise to do what is best,
and good.
9. We must address ourselves to him
accordingly, that means we must pray to
Him asking for it.
In all our ways, we must acknowledge God
with submission.
By prayer: Faith is always followed
by an action, and that is the act of
prayer.
10. When should we trust in him and lean on him, and
let our paths be directed?
In every thing, make our requests known
Eg., Jephthah uttered all his words before
the Lord in Mizpeh, Jdg. 11:11
11. Those that faithfully follow the pillar of cloud
and fire shall find that though it may lead them
about it leads them the right way and will bring
them to Canaan at last.
12. Lastly, Who should trust in him and lean on him, and let paths be directed?
Psalms 115:11 -Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD:
he is their help and their shield.
13. You are in front of the Red sea and behind you is a whole army waiting to devour you
- How much can you trust in God that He can make a passage through the waters
and kill the entire army of enemies!
14. You are in the Lion’s den – Can you confide in God that he will turn the lions into
pussycats!
15. You are asked of God to prepare a boat because God will destroy it with a flood.
Will you trust God and obey?
16. There is trust in
the future
tense. The book
of Hebrews says
there is a
“better
resurrection”
awaiting those
who die for
their Faith.
17. Therefore,
Trust God for what He has done for you in the past,
Trust God for what He does for you in the present, and
Trust God for what God will bring to you in the future.
18. Finally, remember these 4 things.
1. Wisdom’s Invitation - Proverbs 3:5a
“TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL THINE HEART;”
2. Wisdom’s Instruction to the wise – Proverbs 3:5b, 6a
“LEAN NOT UNTO THINE OWN UNDERSTANDING.”
“IN ALL THY WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM,”
3. Wisdom’s Insurance -Proverbs 3:6b
“AND HE SHALL DIRECT THY PATHS”
4. Wisdom’s Inquisitor’s Invite – Proverbs 9:13- 18
Not only is wisdom inviting, but also her inquisitor, the foolish woman
is calling. If you do not heed to wisdom’s invite, and to her instruction,
then you direct yourself to the paths of hell.
“But he knoweth not that … her guests are in the depths of hell.”
