This document contains charts summarizing housing market trends in Toronto from 2011-2014. It includes charts showing monthly MLS sales, new listings, the sales to new listings ratio, and average home prices over time. These charts allow comparisons over multiple years and identification of seasonal trends. Higher sales to listing ratios are generally associated with greater price growth. Additional charts show long term trends in sales, listings, and prices since 1995. One chart correlates the sales to listing ratio with average annual price changes. The final chart tracks housing affordability over time based on the share of average household income required for a mortgage, taxes and utilities on a typical home.
