the bed with his lamp providing light. The sequence will then cut to a black screen and then back

bannister. Without questioning the absence of his parents he gathers up his college equipment
and shouts goodbye to his Mum and Dad whilst on his way out the door. He receives no response
and starts to look for his parents, upon realizing that they are not home and none of the cars are
missing. Confusion is aroused within Josh and he starts to notice that there is no natural sounds
outside. Josh rides around the streets on his BMX looking for any noticeable sign of life. Josh
begins to understand that he is alone, stops and slowly smiles.
The next part of the sequence is a week later and shows Josh riding around the streets listening
to his i-pod, racing around. Josh then stops and takes snacks out his bag. This will trigger a time
lapse scene in which Josh eats a number of snacks. The next day Josh wakes up and goes to eat
breakfast. He is ready to eat his cereal when the front door opens and then slams shut, the sound
from it echoing throughout the house. A shot of Josh’s eyes will then be used before cutting to
black and rolling the title sequence.
