Twinkle and Smile are cartoon heroes who start a journey through several European countries over four seasons. They visit Bulgaria, Italy, Turkey, Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary, Germany, Portugal, Lithuania and Sweden, learning about the schools and culture of each place. In Bulgaria, they learn about pottery crafts and visit Vasil Levski Secondary School. In Italy, they see Santa Claus (Babbo Natale) and learn about Christmas traditions like nativity scenes, Christmas trees, and gifts brought by Befana. They try different Italian Christmas sweets.

believe that an old lady called 'Befana' brings presents for them.
