Travelling
LET’S SEE WHERE TO GO…
Welcome to China! China
Arrival in Beijing – Orientation You may choose to relax at the hotel but if your arrival schedule permits you may also opt for some local sightseeing or shopping before dinner. Be sure to check first with your Tour Manager. BEIJING
NEXT You can have ample time to tour the 170-acre Forbidden City complex but still, you'll only be able to see a fraction of the site's nearly 9,000 rooms. The Forbidden City is a UNESCO World Heritage Site one of the many featured on Let's Travel China tours.
The day's big event is what many travelers to China rate as their most memorable sight: the Great Wall of China ! Your memories of the wall will likely be even more special because you'll bypass the tourist congestion and travel to the less-crowded, less-commercialized town of Mutianyu , where the Great Wall locale is most dramatic.
SHANGHAI Now, there's time to tour the city's Western-style Bund neighborhood and …… do some serious "Shanghai shopping"! Shanghai was a minor county seat until the British arrived in the mid-19th century, lured by the potential wealth of untapped trade markets.
We’ve just seen the night life of western SHANGHAI… Let’s see the morning Asian style SHANGHAI!
HONG KONG And of course you must not miss Hong Kong because Hong Kong offers world-famous shopping and cuisine… You can find Jewelry, Chinese antiques, electronics or designer clothing rated among the best shopping buys. Dining options run the gamut from fast-food to some of the greatest, most memorable restaurants found anywhere.
The next place you can visit is Victoria Peak Tramway. The views will be stunning. You can also follow with a City Tour , including a drive out of town to Repulse Bay – a popular beach and swimming getaway .
