International Clinical Rotations

International Medicine is the option within the UNIBE Medical curriculum, available
for students interested in medical residency programs in the United States.
Important features include:•
• The Pre-Clinical Cycle (the first 10 semesters of the program are offered in
English).
• The Clinical Sciences Cycle (the last 06 semesters of the program are offered in
Spanish).
• The bilingual nature of the international mode allows graduates to enter their
professional field as bilingual doctors, providing them with a powerful tool within
their communication skills.
• All foreign students are placed in this program mode. However, national students,
if they wish, can also enroll.
• Students are offered curricular strategies, training them to be successful when
taking the U.S. medical licensing exams.
• This program option fosters diversity through multicultural team interactions.
• Students in the International Medicine program mode must pass the USMLE
Step I and Step II CS and CK exams before graduating from UNIBE, so they may
complete their degree as already eligible candidates for medical residency
programs in the United States.

CESINE is an affilliated institution with the London Metropolitan University, in Spain.
Affilliated degree programs, in addition to the CESINE degree, offer the option of
completing the London Metropolitan University degree, which is 100% official and
recognized in Europe, United Kingdom, United States, Canada, among other
countries.
All UNIBE students who complete a dual degree with CESINE can benefit from this

courses and add other courses that have no required pre-requisites, at no additional cost.
 You can include an Academic Concentration (a topic focus within your program), placing yourself at the

professionals.
 International Student Mobility options: within your academic program, you can participate in a semester
abroad, validating all completed courses and living an international experience for the same cost of a
semester at UNIBE. (Costs may vary depending on the selected university. See corresponding brochure for

 UNIBE offers International Student Mobility scholarships, which students can use to cover their living
expenses, such as housing, international insurance, transportation and food costs.
 UNIBE does not charge enrollment fees.
