Bangladesh has many tourist attractions including archaeological sites, historical mosques and monuments, rivers, tea gardens, beaches, forests, and wildlife. Some of the major tourist spots in Dhaka include the Seven Domed Mosque and Baitul Mukarram Mosque from the 17th century. The Sundarbans mangrove forest and Hill Tracts are also popular destinations, known for their high peaks, beautiful lakes, and tribal people. Tourism provides economic and socio-cultural benefits to Bangladesh but can also negatively impact the environment if not managed properly.
