This document discusses several totalitarian leaders throughout history including Vladimir Lenin, Stalin, Mao Zedong, and Hitler. Lenin introduced a mixed economy model in the Soviet Union combining aspects of communism and capitalism. Stalin carried out purges of enemies and implemented 5-year economic plans. Mao Zedong killed political threats in China and caused the deaths of millions during the Great Leap Forward and Cultural Revolution. Hitler wrote Mein Kampf in prison and used the Reichstag fire to consolidate power as the leader of Nazi Germany.

everybody lives wherever they want.

Vladimir was a communist politician.
New Economic Policy, it was a
combination of communism and
capitalism.
The proletariat was the lower social
class. The workers state.

3. Stalin
Stalin’s purges were the mi"ions of
“enemies” that he murdered.
His 5-year plans were goals that were
meant to strengthen the economy.
Co"ectivization is when groups of
people are sent out to gather crops for
the government.

4. Mao Zedong
Mao Zedong was a leader in Chaochan,
China.
Like Stalin, Mao Zedong ki"ed the people
that posed as a “threat” to him. He
believed that the economy and the state
was more important than the people there.
He ki"ed Jiang Jie-shi (Chiang Kai-shek)
to gain power.

5. Mao Zedong Continued
The Cultural Revolution was a social political
movement that took place in the People’s Republic of
China (om 1966 through 1976.
His great leap forward was an economic and social
campaign of the Communist Party of China. This
resulted in the death of about 45 mi"ion people.

6. Hitler
Mein Kampf was a book that Hitler wrote while
he was imprisoned.
The Reichstag fire was a fire that was in the
Reichstag Building. Because of this power was
giving to Adolf Hitler and he kept moving
forward until he died.
The SS was meant to be a bodyguard for senior
Nazis. Eventua"y they just became Hitler’s
bodyguard.
