which we called mathematics.

organize and systematize
ideas about patterns, we have
discovered a pattern in nature.

Nature patterns which are not to
be admired, they are vital clues
to the rules that govern natural

In countries with four seasons, the sequence
is always winter, spring, summer, and fall.

Our body follows a natural internal process that
regulates the sleep cycle that repeats every 24 hours.

How do we know when to celebrate our
birthday? by looking at the calendar. They have
been used for more than 2,000 years. They
suggest that thousands of years ago, people
had already discovered patterns of time and
season.

When you look up at the sky, you may see different
constellations. These patterns were devised by
poets, farmers, and astronomers to identify stars in
their location. On the other hand, the 12 zodiac
constellations or signs of the zodiac are famous today
for their use in astrology.

Who doesn’t love music? Many consider music as a
form of art, but technically it’s a collection of
coordinated sounds like guitar and piano.
Compositions in the guitar are visualized using
tablature in which notes and numbers were used in
the progression of sounds.

Have you tried solving a Rubik’s Cube? It may
seem impossible to solve it at first, but there
are various patterns that can be used to

 All around us we see a great
diversity of living things: from
the microscopic to the gigantic,
from simple to the complex, from
bright colors to dull ones.

 One of the most intriguing things we
see in nature is pattern. We tend to
think of patterns as sequences or
designs that are orderly and that
repeat. But we can also think of
pattern as anything that is random.
