Gates Corporation (2007 to Present)
I was approached by the Gates Corporation to move to the Middle East with a view to growing the O&G
division. Engaged as a Senior Business Development Manager to develop the Middle East business into new
markets. Established a new Business unit in 2008, through its success this model was adopted globally and
led to acquisitions of numerous companies. Within the GCC my portfolio was recognised as the market
leader.
In first year of operation achieved US$2.5m revenue and grew to become 25% of the regional company
revenue within the first year, growing year on year. This portfolio is now achieving revenues in excess of
US$15m per annum.
Highest revenue and profit earner within the Middle East business.
Lead member of the Global Product Development Committee.
Key member of the due diligence team looking at potential acquisitions globally.
On site troubleshooting roles, working with clients to overcome any challenges both on and off-shore. My
significant experience in rig operations and equipment provides the in depth knowledge to converse
knowledgably at all levels within a contractors business.
Secured first global contract with market leading contractor for hose management.
Led the successful products acceptance process with Aramco.
Working alongside major rig manufacturers securing key orders for the use of our products on their equipment.
Developed excellent working relationships with all major contractors associated with the oil industry.
SKF Bearings – (2005-2007)
Engaged to develop the under-performing power transmission division of the company within Western
Australia. Successfully turned around the declining business unit turning this into a profitable element of the
wider company. This was achieved through developing individuals within the company to understand and
strive towards being team players for the wider benefit of the division. In the two years I led this division we
achieved not only double digit growth but exceeded the overall growth profile of the wider Western Australia
business.
DELTAFLEX Corporation – Formerly known as TRANSFLEX (1990 to 2005)
Initially employed as a Sales Representative which directly resulted in a 14% increase in turnover and gross
profit rising from 29.5% to 34.3%. Within two years I was promoted to Operations Manager, and then to
General Manager a year later.

With complete responsibility for driving the growth of the business, my key role included the Business
Planning and Commercial Management of the wider business whilst ensuring the successful administrative
and operational requirements were met. My commitment and determination to grow the business saw gross
profits increase by 6% over a one year period. My value to the business was further demonstrated when I
was invited to become a shareholder.
BUNZL LTD (1986 to 1990)
Initially engaged as a Store Person I was swiftly promoted to Sales Coordinator where I helped drive up sales
and the subsequent company turnover and profits. Starting at the grass roots level enabled me to fully
understand the business and therefore bring added value from my role.
