Product Description:
NIKLAS PURA is based on new developments in nano-technology and was developed in cooperation with leading institutes
especially for use in areas with high hygienic requirements. Thanks to its unique combination of effective ingredients on a
nano-silver base, Tobslak NIKLAS PURA permanently resistant to germs and bacteria without contaminating the air in the
room.
The product is an interior coating with an anti-microbial effect on an acrylate base with nano-silver and provides effective and
permanent protection on the surface of the coating against germs and bacteria (including Staphylococcus Aureus, Enterococcus
Faecium).
It is also tested for pollutants, safe for air in interior spaces from a hygiene standpoint and “recommended from a medical
point of view” (certificate), water vapour diffusion open, “non-combustible” (building material class A2 according to DIN 4102-
1), hard wearing and scrub resistant (wet abrasion class 2 according to DIN EN 13300), resistant to desinfectants, excellent
hiding power (class 2 according to DIN EN 13300), free of solvents and plasticisers, free of fogging-active substances and low
odour.
Intended Uses:
For high quality interior coatings in areas where high requirements are placed on hygiene, e.g. in hospitals, clinics, surgeries,
medical practices, nursing homes, the food trade and industry, etc. It is used for coating ceilings and walls and can be appl ied
as a finishing coat on old and new render, wall paper, gypsum plasterboard, concrete, sand-lime brick and fair-faced masonry
work. It can also be used to renovate load-bearing old coats of silicate, silicone resin and dispersion paints.

Conditions for use: Temperature of the material, air and substrate: from min. +8 °C to max. +30 °C
Stir well. Coat the surface using a suitable tool. Apply the material in 2 coats, depending on the condition of the substrate .

Packing:
20 L pail and 200 L drum.
Surface Preparation:
All surfaces should be sound, clean and free of contaminants. Absorbent surfaces should preferably dry.
Area of Application:
NIKLAS PURA can be applied by brush, roller, ensure that the preceding coat is fully dry before applying the successive coat, which
should be applied at right angle to proceeding coat.
Application Rate:
Approx. 0.15 l/m² per coat (depending on the substrate properties).
Apply to a large enough trial area to determine the precise amount required.
Clean water dilution 30-40% recommended depending upon surface conditions.
Storage/Shelf life:
If stored unopened in its original container in a cool, dry place and protected against frost, the product will keep for at least 18
months.
Cleaning:
Tools may be cleaned with water as long as the product is wet. Once dry, by mechanical means only.
Safety:
The usual safety precautions when handling chemicals must be observed. These include the measures described in
Federal, State and Local health and safety regulations, thorough ventilation of the workplace, good skin care and
wearing of protective goggles.
Biocidal Products Regulation:
Contains as "treated goods" a biocidal product (film preservative) with the biocidal active agent silver phosphate glass to protect the
film from contamination by microbial organisms (algae, mould etc.). Always follow the directions carefully!
VOC content as per the "Decopaint" Directive (2004/42/EC: EU limit value for the product: max. 30 g/l (2010). This product
contains < 30 g/l.
