Dear Ashlea,
I am applying for a casual, part-time or full-time position with Tim Horton’s Restaurant. I am
looking to make a long term commitment to your organization because of it’s world renounced
community involvement and award winning achievements. I am available to fill any type of position
with the knowledge, qualifications and experience to fulfill the role of a baker, cashier, supervisor or
any other type of position that you are actively seeking with the knowledge, qualifications and
experience to fulfill these position requirements. I currently live in the Juliet building above your
location and would be available for any position or shift that you currently have available and can
commence work immediately. I would be available to be at work in under one minute to cover shifts
if someone calls in sick or if you need to have the restaurant open for any other circumstance. I am
available 24/7 right now. I would be pleased to take on anything from casual, part-time to full-time
work that you currently have available in any of the different career facets you actively looking for. I
would also be available to commute to other locations in the city or re-locate on a permanent basis in
the future as Tim Horton’s continues to rapidly expand in its success across Canada.
I hold current Food Safe, SuperHost, WHIMIS, Crowning the Customer, CPR-C, AED, and
Standard First Aid certifications. I hold a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) which
specializes in Service Excellence. I have 4 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, and
having recently spent 17 years of experience in the fitness industry. I am looking to transfer back to
the food and beverage industry to challenge myself in new ways in an industry I am interested in
committing to on a long-term basis. I am excited that your company offers career advancement and
growth potential. I have 8 years of supervisory and management experience and have managed up to
a staff of 100 employees. I have previously held responsibilities for service excellence, payroll,
scheduling, hiring, performance evaluations, budgeting, customer retention, product and program
marketing, supply and demand, and policies and procedures. I have recently taken a year off after
working very hard for a number of years to rest and rejuvenate. I am now more motivated than ever
with the passion, positive attitude and strong work ethic, no matter what position you currently need
filled. I would love to be able to personally contribute to Tim Horton’s continued success as one of
Canada’s most successful and award-winning coffee company’s in Canada.

player and always demonstrate a positive attitude that becomes contagious when given the
