I am a DNP, RN, MSN, WHNP-BC with 26 years of OB/GYNexperience. My
experience is between the ob/gyn office setting and labor and delivery. Iam interested in
and passionate about direct patient care and allowing the patientto have input about
options for their care. I suggest and incorporate holistic medicine into practice if indicated
as an appropriate option for patients to use for their care. Ihave experience with the use
of essential oils in women’s health and have just recentlycompleted my doctorate
capstone on the use of essential oilsin peri-menopausal patients.Iam confident in my

Through completion of my doctorate capstone Iinitiated a program that encourages the use of
essential oils in caring for women experiencing peri-menopausal concerns.Those oils are also
encouraged fro other non-life threatening conditions asdirected.The oilsand the instructionsfor
howto use them were distributed with samplesto my DNP cohorts in an effortto encourage them
to integrate this holistic method of care as an option for their patients.
