2. Original photo
• The first process in creating my movie poster was
starting off with inserting my photo. Placing it in an ideal
position.
• The next process was to remove the background of my
photo, this was done by selecting the eraser tool and
zooming in to get precise details so it will not effect the
final result of the poster.
3. background
• Creating a new layer I had inserted
the background which I had chosen
for my thriller poster.
• I had then inserted the picture of the
girl in the front to give it the
conventual thriller poster theme
4. Blur / highlights
• Following the placing of my two images, I had then selected the
blur tool to create an eerie image. I had blurred the background
making it challenging to make out what it is.
• After I had selected the luminous tool to highlight the weapon
the girl is holding. This was done so when the audience see the
poster they will be able to identify the placement of a weapon
and be able to have viewpoints of what the movies is about or
involves.
5. Title/ credits
• I had created credits and a title on word and then
took photos of them and had then inserted them
onto my poster.
• Afterwards I had then erased the ‘white’ coloured
areas for them to blend into my poster.
6. logos/reviews
• My final step in completing my poster I had added
company logos and ratings. I had added company
productions involved in the making of the movie, giving
them credit.
• I had also found an image that had reviews and using
the eraser tool I had erased the parts of the image that
did not need to be used in the poster.
7. Final film poster
• The finishing product of my poster came out
with conventions of thriller themes you find
common in most posters.
• To finish off the poster I had given a motion
blur to the image to make it feel as haunted as
possible for it to attract an audience that loves
horror/thriller.
