- 1. Tallulah, Raya, Naomi, Ellie PITCH FOR OUR THRILLER OPENING
- 2. • A young adult who has bipolar/ multiple personalities, which was caused by her being sexually assaulted as a child by a member of her family; e.g. her stepdad. • Due to her sexual assault she develops these disorders which then leads to her making the decision to kill the family member that sexually assaulted her. • The opening scene will then start with the showing of her being consulted by a psychiatrist; where it will be reveled that not only was she raped, but had also committed the crime. • We will do this by not saying or showing the graphic scenes but by hinting at it with the dialogue and actions. PLOT
- 3. The young child could wear pink, girly pajamas to signify that she is a stereotypical child and classed as mentally stable. However, we could also contrast this by ripping it up to represent that her childhood has been distressed. The young adult will wear a white nighty to symbolize purity and innocence. This suggests that she in a mental institution. This portrays to the audience that she is mentally unstable. The psychiatrist will wear business wear to show her profession and her being upper class. COSTUMES
- 4. House- bedroom: showing the girl in her cradling herself Dining room: eating dinner with her family portraying a happy, loving family. Park- happy in the flash back to contrast against the bad ones. Orchard- bad flash backs Psychiatrist office- filmed in library or in an office. LOCATIONS
- 5. In this scene, we will either show the young girl cleaning up blood while crying; which will then rapidly change to her laughing while covering herself in the blood. This is a clear juxtaposition showing her disorder. This will show suspense as the audience would have believed due to her crying that she is an innocent young girl that has been taken advantage of, to a psychologically messed up child. Alternatively, we could show the same young girl crying in a corner while cradling herself in a corner to show her having a mental illness early on which will then pan into an extreme close up of a bloody knife. This will then zoom out to present the dead body. We will then have a close up of the young girl crying to show her sadness and fear which will then be juxtaposed to her going into an evil laugh which will then further show her mental illness.
