THIRD CONDITIONAL
    IF+CLAUSE (CONDITIONAL)                      MAIN CLAUSE (RESULT)
If + past perfect or past perfect progressive   would/could/might+have+participle




The third conditional is used when we are talking
  about the past and imagining something
  different from what actually happened, that
  means for imaginary past actions, where the
  conditions for the action WERE NOT satisfied.
                                      satisfied.
•If I had known, I would have helped.

   I didn't know and didn't help   .
 Ifshe had studied harder she could have
                    harder,
  passed the exam.
She
Sh did not study, she f il d the exam.

•If I had had money the last year, I could have traveled around the world.
She did not have money, she did not travel, she stayed at the city the whole
