Jesus tells Pilate that he is indeed a king, having been born for that purpose. He says he came to bring truth to the world, and that all who love the truth will recognize his words are true. The passage then describes a poll finding that most Americans are familiar with Christian teachings but their beliefs are unlikely to change. It then describes Jesus' encounter with a Samaritan woman at a well, where he reveals details of her personal life and tells her he can give her living water to satisfy her deepest needs.

Praying the Jesus Way

God's Love

3) God sent Jesus Christ to overcome sin and evil. By accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior, individuals can experience God's love and allow His plan of restoration to begin in their lives.
Washing Of The Feet
1. Jesus washes the feet of his disciples at the Last Supper to teach them about humility and service.
2. When Peter refuses to let Jesus wash his feet, Jesus says that unless he is washed, Peter cannot be part of him.
3. Jesus instructs his disciples to wash one another's feet, just as he washed theirs, so they will learn humility and service towards others.
