This document discusses the benefits of using wikis in education. It provides many examples of how wikis can be used across different subject areas, including as study guides created by student groups; for ongoing vocabulary lists contributed by students; to organize all class materials and assignments; for collaborative research projects; and as an FAQ wiki where students post and answer questions about the current topic of study. Wikis allow for collaboration between students and engagement through sharing digital artifacts. They provide a space for student work to be viewed and edited by others, promoting creativity and information sharing.
