“The Adventures of X” is a collection of poetry by JRR Tolkien published in 1962
that have some of the poems featured in the Middle Earth universe.
The book contains three poems from LOTR: The Man in the Moon stayed up too
late, The Stone Troll, and Oliphaunt.
The first poem of the book is the same as the title of the book, The Adventures of
X, and tells about this much loved character from the LOTR series who
incidentally has been left out of the movies.

In the myth of Theseus and the Minotaur, King Minos of Crete had a son named

Hunger Games.”

defeating Yorkist Richard III and marrying Yorkist Elizabeth. This united the two
clans and established the House of Tudor.
