• X is produced by adding six handfuls of red berries, then four

What is the phrase?
Oddly, although the phrase was routinely used to encourage the audience to leave, the first time that
it was announced it was to encourage them to stay in their seats. That first use was in 1956 by Horace
Logan, who was the announcer at the Louisiana Hayride show, in which ____ was a regular performer.

X's death was fittingly mysterious. On October 3, 1849, X was found on the streets of Baltimore
delirious, "in great distress, and... in need of immediate assistance". He was taken to the
hospital, where he died on Sunday, October 7, 1849, at 5:00 in the morning. X was never
coherent long enough to explain how he came to be in his dire condition, and, oddly, was
wearing clothes that were not his own. X is said to have repeatedly called out the name

death remains a mystery, although speculation thrives. One theory, dating from 1872, indicates
that cooping – in which unwilling citizens who were forced to vote for a particular candidate
were occasionally killed – was the cause of X's death.

• The website was launched in February 2011; development had begun
six months prior. Initially there were a limited number of new seller
accounts available; new sellers had to purchase an account in an
auction. Later, a fixed fee was charged for each new seller account.
• In 2013, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) shut down the
website and arrested Ross William Ulbricht under charges of being the
site's pseudonymous founder "Dread Pirate Roberts". On 6 November
2013, X 2.0 came online, run by former administrators of X. It too was
shut down and the alleged operator was arrested on 6 November 2014
as part of the so-called "Operation Onymous”. Ulbricht was convicted of
all seven charges in U.S. Federal Court in Manhattan relating to X and
was sentenced to life in prison. Further charges alleging murder-for-hire
remain pending in Maryland.

is an acronym derived from the original software project name The
Onion Router. X directs Internet traffic through a free, worldwide,
volunteer network consisting of more than six thousand relays to
conceal a user's location and usage from anyone conducting network

• Using X makes it more difficult for Internet activity to be traced back to
the user: this includes "visits to Web sites, online posts, instant
