This document provides an introduction to Zad al-Talibin, a book compiling short hadiths from the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It was written to introduce hadiths early in Islamic studies curriculums. It facilitates grammatical learning for students while exposing them to hadiths' wisdom and guidance. Though initially for Arabic students, the English translation allows wider access. The hadiths' topics broadly cover human life aspects. The Prophet was gifted with expressing vast meanings concisely through few eloquent words. Studying hadith brings one close to God and guides Islamic understanding.
The document discusses the compilation of hadith over four periods of Islamic history. The first period saw hadith being preserved through memorization by prominent Sahabah like Abu Hurairah and Aisha. Some Sahabah and Tabi'een also began writing down hadith, including the Sahaifah of Ibn Amr al-Aas and the Sahaifah of Humaam ibn Munabbih. This laid the foundation for hadith science and the formal recording of prophetic narrations.

A Review of the Pakistani Government’s
“White Paper”: Qadiyaniyyat—
A Grave Threat to Islam
Replies to Some Allegations
(4)
An English translation of
the Friday sermon delivered by
Hadrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih IVrta
on February 15, 1985
at the Fadl Mosque, London
A perfect example of the cruel treatment of the
Ahmadiyyah Muslim Jama‘at by the government of
Pakistan is the White Paper. This document, published by
the government of Pakistan under the title
Qa diyaniyyat—A Grave Threat to Islam, was written in
support of the Federal ordinance dated April 26, 1984.
By publishing the White Paper, this ‘Islamic Republic’
has set aside all Islamic values and has done away with
many basic human rights including religious social freedoms
of the Ahmadiyyah Muslim Jama‘at. Using the
White Paper as a crutch, the government of Pakistan claims
that the beliefs of the Ahmadiyyah Muslim Jama‘at compel
it to impose restrictions upon the Ahmadi Muslims.
As far as the allegations and accusations made in the
White Paper are concerned, they are a repetition of the
same baseless allegations and accusations that the
Ahmadiyyah Muslim Jama‘at has responded to in the past
on the basis of the Holy Qur’an and the Ahadith.
Since much of our literature is currently being confiscated
by the government of Pakistan, sincere seekers of
truth may have difficulty finding the answers. This series of Friday sermons present the response laid out by Hadrat
Mirza Tahir Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih IVrta, the then Imam
of the Ahmadiyyah Muslim Jama‘at, to these allegations.
This response to the White Paper was first published in
Urdu in 1985. Its English translation is being published
now. This sermon was delivered on February 15, 1985 at
the Fadl Mosque, London, and deals with the true Islamic
concept of jihad.

war and Peace in the Life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), seeks
to bring into sharper focus the relevance of the Prophet’s exemplary life in our

freedom of faith is brought home with reference to the elucidation of the Qur’anic
verses which allow’ Muslims to wage war, if necessary. The same truth is illustrated
bs analyzing the Prophet’s conduct in war and his measures for ensuring peace. All
the maior battles in the early history of Islam are studied in the wider context of
Islamic teachings on war and peace .

The six authentic sources of tafseer discussed are: 1) the Quran itself, 2) prophetic traditions, 3) sayings of companions, 4) sayings of followers of companions, 5) Arabic lexicon, and 6) common sense. Causes of inaccurate tafseer can include incompetence, subjecting the Quran to one

2) The period of the companions after the Prophet's death, when leading figures like Ibn Abbas systematized tafseer using sources like the Quran, hadiths, Arabic language etc. Key centers of learning emerged in Makkah, Madinah and Kufa.
3) The period of the successors (tabi'een

Juz’u ‘Amma is the most commonly recited and memorized portion of the Qur’ān. Its early revelations came in powerful language consisting of short, concise but eloquent sentences; their literary style was so unique that it attracted a great deal of attention. Logical evidences supported the universal truths expressed within them. Their verses exposed the errors of the idolaters and criticized their blind adherence to a religion of unsanctioned customs.
They refute the misconception that man is self-sufficient, independent of Allah and unaccountable to Him. And they convey basic principles of morality, ethics and righteous conduct taught by all prophets as an indispensable part of Allah’s religion. This document discusses the conflict between Islam and secularism. It argues that secularism is a contemporary manifestation of jahiliyyah (ignorance) and is fundamentally at odds with Islamic monotheism. Secularism restricts Islam to the mosque and seeks to govern society without Islamic law, which constitutes polytheism. The document outlines how secularism entered Muslim lands through the influence of hypocritical secularists, using Turkey as an example. It concludes that secularism has no place in Muslim societies due to Islam's all-encompassing nature and the historical compatibility of Islam with science.

Nurul Iqtibas fi Mishkat Wasiyyah Al-Nabi li Ibn 'Abbas
Prophet Muhammad's (ﷺ) Advice to Ibn Abbas (رضي الله عنه)
-------
The spiritual and wordly life of a Muslim is focused on Allah. Success in both entails knowing Allah, loving Him, trusting Him and worshipping Him alone. It requires the Muslim to learn his religion, discipline his soul and refine his conduct. The Muslim must have firm faith that everything that happens to him in this life is good for him, that his Lord would never decree anything that would be detrimental and, as such, he is required to be patient and steadfast in the face of adversity and grateful at times of ease.
In this treatise, the author, ibn Rajab sets out to explain the advice the Prophet (SAW) imparted to ibn Abbas (radiyAllahu’anhuma), ‘Safeguard Allah and He will safeguard you. Safeguard Allah and you will find Him in front of you. Know Allah in times of ease and He will know you in times of hardship. When you ask, ask Allah. When you seek aid, turn to Allah. The Pen has dried (after having written) all that will occur…’
It would not be an exaggeration to say that if a Muslim was to understand this hadith and follow it closely, he would be well on his way to fulfilling the goals highlighted above. It is for this reason that ibn al-Jawzi said, ‘I pondered this hadith and it struck me with awe; I was so astounded that I almost became light headed… The prevailing ignorance of this hadith and the lack of understanding thereof is truly distressing!’.
‘Abdu’l-Qadir al-Jilani said, ‘Every believer should make this hadith a mirror to his heart, his axiom, his shelter and his topic of conversation. He should act by it in all times of motion and stillness so that he can be saved in this world and in the Hereafter.’
Imam ibn Rajab al-Hanbali (d.795H) was a scholar praised extensively for his vast knowledge, ascetism and expertise in the Hanbali school of thought as well as in hadith and its related sciences. His writings, gatherings and sermons were full of blessings and he was loved by all. He has written numerous monographs explaining individual hadiths of which this one, a series of which is currently being published by Daar us-Sunnah Publishers.
The translator has added appendices which comprise further explanations to the hadith by Mulla Ali al-Qari, ibn ‘Allan, and ibn ‘Uthaymin

How to Make a Field Mandatory in Odoo 17Celine George
In Odoo, making a field required can be done through both Python code and XML views. When you set the required attribute to True in Python code, it makes the field required across all views where it's used. Conversely, when you set the required attribute in XML views, it makes the field required only in the context of that particular view.
How to Fix the Import Error in the Odoo 17Celine George
An import error occurs when a program fails to import a module or library, disrupting its execution. In languages like Python, this issue arises when the specified module cannot be found or accessed, hindering the program's functionality. Resolving import errors is crucial for maintaining smooth software operation and uninterrupted development processes.
