The Silence of the Lambs is a 1991 psychological thriller directed by Jonathan Demme. FBI trainee Clarice Starling interviews Dr. Hannibal Lecter, a imprisoned serial killer, to gain his insight on another serial killer nicknamed Buffalo Bill. Clarice must gain Lecter's trust while avoiding revealing too much personal information, as he will manipulate any exposure of vulnerability. The case becomes more urgent when Buffalo Bill kidnaps the daughter of a senator. Clarice continues working with Lecter to try to find the kidnap victim before it's too late.
