Thereafter the role of industrial valves and their applicability shall be communicated with the intention to introduce automation in valve actuation. On establishing a premise in this manner, the latter part shall comprise design considerations to initiate, develop and execute supervisory control and data acquisition systems to suit the aim of this work. Certain challenges and suggested measures to mitigate the same shall be presented towards the end to ensure practicality of the topic. Industries handling hazardous chemicals are at times at a risk of incidents or accidents owing to failure of power distribution or compressed air distribution systems.
