L2 for 12 months HJ or TL for 5 Comp/Pro REL events managing two other judges (two of them in the last 12 months) HJ for 20 other events (5 of them in the last 12 months) Training and mentoring of at least two new Level 1 judges in the last 12 months 10 reviews in the last 12 months ◦ about judges inside and outside own region ◦ about judges of higher, equal and lower level ◦ pointing out strengths AND areas for improvement Participation in the judge community on a regional or global level Sufficient English to be a TL internationally and participate in discussions on mailing lists and projects Scored 80% on a Level 3 Assessment Exam in the last 6 months Self-review covering ALL the Qualities of Regional Judges in the last 12 months (incl. update if older than 6 months)
- 4. Gather and write down information about qualities and performance (by others and by self) Think about negatives and positives Compare yourself to other L3s that you see as role models Try to find the underlying reasons for strengths and weaknesses Be critical List examples Cover ALL qualities
- 5. Sort from best to worst Draw a line between „strengths“ and „areas to improve“ At next event focus on the worst two/three Write review how you improved (or not) Update the ranking Qualities are already there at Level 2!

- 7. If L2 for at least a year, are active in their community, and shown commitment to improve Send your self-review to ◦ Your Regional Coordinator ◦ Testing Manager (Daniel Kitachewsky). Ask for recommendations ◦ Only AFTER approval of your self-review ◦ From any L3+ judge ◦ Include a copy of self-review ◦ CC your Regional Coordinator
- 8. Written recommendations from at least two of the following categories: ◦ Regional Coordinator ◦ L3+ judge within own region ◦ L3+ judge outside own region ◦ Can be co-authored Conformation from L4+ judge indicating success in a Team Lead position at a Grand Prix in last 36 months

Send to your RC and Testing Manager Must be detailed and specific Must contain explanations of how you have met each of the requirements Application must include ◦ Review IDs (advancement reviews, self-review, recommendation reviews, and other relevant ones) ◦ Update on your progress if self-review is older than 6 months ◦ ID for your L3 assessment exam ◦ Dates for the Comp/Pro events where you were HJ/TL ◦ Specific examples of participation in the judge community Will be reviewed by a panel of L3+ judges
