3. The Beginning
- 2015: Co-founders Abhay Hanjura and Vivek Gupta had a small idea to start a meat venture in
India.
- Abhay created an eye-opening deck about the potential of the meat market in India.
- Both founders resigned from their jobs to pursue their venture.
Challenges and Growth
- Mr. Pai scolded them for not knowing enough but gave them a cheque.
- Launch failed and operations shut down.
- After a successful relaunch, they had 1300 orders in a month.

4. Success
- Bank balance was Rs 1 cr and Abhay signed a
25L marketing campaign.
- Licious was featured on Discovery Channel.
