The RICS Global Commercial Property Survey is a quarterly survey that tracks sentiment among over 45 countries. It uses a simple tick box format to measure conditions on both the occupier and investment sides of the commercial property market. Respondents indicate if conditions have improved, worsened, or stayed the same. A net balance is calculated from these responses. The survey provides timely market intelligence and commentary in around 5 minutes. It is one of the only truly global surveys that helps identify turning points ahead of official data and generates publicity for participating firms.
