4. AIM OF THE PROJECT
The establishment and improvement of hospital -patient interaction system is a very important
requirement, especially now when the communication technology is developing rapidly.
The proposed system of the projects, develop a hospital - patient interaction system for booking and
searching the nearby hospital on android application platform to meet the needs of the patient and provide
doctors more efficient and convenient means of communication with patients.
The advantages of web can be made full use of to make up the time and distance gap between hospital and
patients and to provide fast and adequate medical services.
Through the connection between user terminals and specific service, both doctors and patients are able to
obtain required data to achieve a better interaction.
The platform, android services and database technology are all gradually maturing.
5. OBJECTIVE OF THIS PROJECT
Hospital appointment booking system is used to making easy for doctor and patient interaction.
In this project, between the doctor and patient conversation is going to through online. User not need to wait for
booking appointment
The main objective of this project is to develop a website for a medical clinic to provide an efficient and economical
way of making appointments and help in all the related task
In hospital doctor time table management, queue management and patient appointments exportations.
it is also required that doctors can easily see all the upcoming appointments and give the results to these
appointments to the patients.

7. EXISTING SYSTEM
In an existing system patients has to go to the hospital and wait in a queue at the appointment desk to
make the reservation and get an appointment.
But they generally finish up waiting endlessly for very long time intervals.
The patient might choose to fix an appointment, but this choice is not possible at all times and does
not likely work well for all people involved in the system.
People involved are as follows: The medical personnel, the hospital and the patient.
The patient longs for effortlessly convenient and accessible times. When they cannot discover a quick
enough appointment they feel like waiting endlessly (Duration between scheduling and the
appointment being made available).
The patient also expects to be seen all of a sudden or within few minutes of their visit to the hospital
or clinic (whether an appointment has been scheduled earlier or not).

17. CONCLUSION
Prime lucidity that online appointment scheduling is attaining popularity every day is that it assists the patient to
make appointments to different doctors, clinics or hospitals in a much flexible manner.
It can be easily performed by using computers, accessing a software or website and making an appointment,
rather than going to the hospital, waiting in a queue for longer hours only to make an appointment for the
forthcoming weeks or months.
From this, patients can indulge in decisions made. Making an appointment to a doctor is made by nothing more
than a click.
18. FUTURE ENHANCEMENT
In Future work, This application to develop a cross platforms like IOS, etc.
In adding the more features of hospital appointment booking management system to develop access with user’s
flexibility.
