A wound is a break in the integrity of the skin or tissues, which may be associated with disruption of the structure and function.
Healing is the body’s response to injury in an attempt to restore normal structure and functions.
Healing can occur in two ways: Regeneration and Repair
There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.
Complications of wound healing like infection, hyperpigmentation of scar, contractures, and keloid formation.

- 2. I was in America when because of family problems I had to travel to France where I lived several years, then I studied at the University of Law, I finished school and travelled to Toledo to visit my family.
- 3. After a few days I decided to stay and live in Toledo where I started to look for work, I got one in a law firm, there worked late. Returning to my home I made dinner as I was about to sit down to dinner the doorbell rang. Emma was my co-worker who brought me the briefcase that I had forgotten.
- 4. I invited her to have dinner to get to know her more. After dinner she left, because the next day I had to get up early. The next day I went to eat breakfast and studied.
- 5. In the afternoon a customer came to me because he was worried about his brother and asked if I could go with him to talk him.
- 6. I managed to go by after my work to his house. That night I left my job and went to visit this person. I hit the door and I started to talk to my client.
