On June 28th 2012, the United Nations General Assembly declared March 20th as the International Day of Happiness. Conscious that the pursuit of happiness is a fundamental human goal, they recognized the relevance of happiness and well-being as universal goals and aspirations.
We’re celebrating happiness not only as a basic human right, but as a way of living and working.
We’re happy when we’re pursuing a purpose, when we’re grateful for what we have and when we appreciate those around us.

“When we contribute to the common good, we ourselves are enriched. Compassion promotes happiness and will help build the future we want”
UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon -March 2013
This year we're partnering up with Action for Happiness to “RECLAIM HAPPINESS” - www.dayofhappiness.net
Happiness is often being used as a selling trick by companies and individuals who tell us that being happy comes at a cost.
We could point to many studies showing how wrong this is – lasting happiness does not come from what we consume, how we look or how much we earn.
Deep down we all know the things that make us happy. If only we could remind ourselves to appreciate those moments more often – and inspire others to do the same.
To celebrate the Day of Happiness 2014, we’re asking people around the world to share a genuine vision of happiness.

A short introduction to using real-time polls in churches. The presentation provides several questions to ask church members to gather some knowledge necessary for decision-making in churches.
This is my painted picture for Meme & Co for the year 2018. It is a manifesto for my business and brand, 3 years from today. By releasing it publicly, I am holding myself accountable in order to make it my reality.
I have over 18 years experience in sales, marketing and advertising, I climbed the corporate ladder and was committed to my career but my priorities changed when I had my children. My life became a struggle, trying to find a balance between wanting to retain my worth and independence in the workforce without compromising my ability to be a present and attentive mother. I found myself working in an intimidating and ultimately soul-destroying environment. It stripped me of my self esteem and my confidence; it was the strength of my children and the support of my husband that gave me the resolve to be resilient, to stand up for myself and stand up for my values. With a strong resolve never to go back to the corporate world as I had known and through commitment, perseverance and a passion to succeed, I found as one door closed behind me other doors opened in front of me.
It was this journey that gave me the motivation and the drive to create an opportunity for other women who want to be in control, who value their independence, who want to be empowered. My drive to keep a balance between work and my family life ultimately resulted in `taking a leap’ into the unknown and embarking on a personal journey of self reflection, new challenges and personal growth.
The name Meme & Co came from the name my son William use to call his sister Aimee when he couldn't pronounce it properly `Meme'. The Co represents William, my other daughter Jessica and my husband Tim. On a business level the Co represents all the partnerships connected to the company that Meme & Co has been built on.
Be Confident, Be Passionate, Be Empowered
Thanks to Natalie Sisson of The Suitcase Entrepreneur I have envisioned my Painted Picture for 2018.
This is how I see my life and my businesses in three years.
By publishing it, it goes out into space and time and will let all the intentions and energies do their work.
Enjoy the journey with me.
Thanks for reading it!

EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT FIRST IMPRESSIONS ARE CRUCIAL BECAUSE IT TAKES JUST 7 SECONDS TO SET SOMEONE’S OPINION OF YOU IN STONE. BUT FOR EUNICE TAN, INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNISED EXPERT IN PERSONAL GROOMING AND BUSINESS ETIQUETTE, THE KEY LIES IN THE COMPLETE PACKAGE: ETIQUETTE, PERSONAL GROOMING, AND RELATIONSHIP BUILDING
I was lucky to be young mother and work all the way. My daughter always kept me grounded on what’s important, a supportive husband has kept me stable and supported me throughout. I have always had a home to come back and recharge. I have suffered stress and politics and deception as any other natural leader, but I have seen success, growth and rewards. So life balances up when you have a strong core in your personal life and when you have the vision to see what is next, a purpose, if not nothing makes sense. Always look for a goal, for a dream, for a passion and they will give you the strength to continue.

Understanding User Needs and Satisfying ThemAggregage
https://www.productmanagementtoday.com/frs/26903918/understanding-user-needs-and-satisfying-them
We know we want to create products which our customers find to be valuable. Whether we label it as customer-centric or product-led depends on how long we've been doing product management. There are three challenges we face when doing this. The obvious challenge is figuring out what our users need; the non-obvious challenges are in creating a shared understanding of those needs and in sensing if what we're doing is meeting those needs.
In this webinar, we won't focus on the research methods for discovering user-needs. We will focus on synthesis of the needs we discover, communication and alignment tools, and how we operationalize addressing those needs.
Industry expert Scott Sehlhorst will:
• Introduce a taxonomy for user goals with real world examples
• Present the Onion Diagram, a tool for contextualizing task-level goals
• Illustrate how customer journey maps capture activity-level and task-level goals
• Demonstrate the best approach to selection and prioritization of user-goals to address
• Highlight the crucial benchmarks, observable changes, in ensuring fulfillment of customer needs

In the Adani-Hindenburg case, what is SEBI investigating.pptxAdani case
Adani SEBI investigation revealed that the latter had sought information from five foreign jurisdictions concerning the holdings of the firm’s foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) in relation to the alleged violations of the MPS Regulations. Nevertheless, the economic interest of the twelve FPIs based in tax haven jurisdictions still needs to be determined. The Adani Group firms classed these FPIs as public shareholders. According to Hindenburg, FPIs were used to get around regulatory standards.
