Rich young ruler - Asking the right questioncanleychurch
A rich young man asked Jesus what he must do to inherit eternal life. Jesus told him to keep the commandments and sell his possessions to follow him. The man went away sad because he had many possessions. Jesus then told his disciples that it is hard for the rich to enter the kingdom of God. Whoever has left houses or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for Jesus' sake will receive a hundred times as much in this age, and eternal life in the age to come.
The document discusses street evangelism and encouraging Christians to share their faith. It notes that while Jesus commanded followers to make disciples of all nations, currently only 2% of Christians share their faith. It argues that bringing awareness of sin through discussing the 10 Commandments can help people recognize their need for a savior by humbling their pride. The document advocates using a technique of asking people four questions about common sins to do this and shares a vision of thousands of Christians evangelizing in the streets of Aberdeenshire in this way.
Trinity Kings World Leadership has Lived A Life of IntegrityTerrell Patillo
Charles Swindoll observed that nothing speaks louder than a life of integrity. Integrity is difficult to build but easy to destroy, and is built slowly over a lifetime through discipline, honesty, and faith. Living with integrity becomes a habit and pleases God, though it is not always easy. Having faith in one's own integrity and character is the basis for believing in anything else.
Lew McGinnis has been an entrepreneur and real estate investor for most of his life. Beginning work when he was very young, Lew McGinnis has overcome numerous obstacles to become the successful man he is today, and is passionate about providing support to those who wish to do the same.
The document outlines the vision, mission, and activities of Singles for Christ (SFC). SFC aims to help single men and women experience Christ and build a Christ-centered society through evangelization, service, prayer, and living productive lives. Key activities include committed relationships through a covenant card, household meetings for prayer, sharing and fellowship, and ongoing teaching and formation events. The conclusion reaffirms the call to respond to Jesus' invitation and do one's share in renewing and strengthening Christian living.
This document discusses the story of Jesus's family fleeing to Egypt to escape King Herod's massacre of innocent children. It provides quotes reflecting on how God came to us as a vulnerable baby, and how Christians should seek to identify with victims of violence. The document also emphasizes that a genuine Christmas requires being poor in spirit, as only the poor and hungry will experience God's presence. It ends with a benediction praying for God's glory to be seen in the church through all generations.
The document summarizes the values, beliefs, leadership, services, and next steps for Catch the Fire Toronto Airport Campus. The four core values are experiencing God as father, intimacy with God, restoration of the heart, and empowering in the anointing. It provides details on the founding pastors, campus pastors, and ministry teams. Services include worship music, teaching, prayer ministry and a presence of the Holy Spirit. Next steps encourage classes, baptism, connect groups and volunteering.

The New Day Camp Ministry of Criminal Justice and Mercy Ministries
1. THE NEW DAY CAMP MINISTRY OF CRIMINAL
JUSTICE AND MERCY MINISTRIES
Lew McGinnis
2. INTRODUCTION
A real estate investor, Lew McGinnis has over 56 years of
experience in the field. A lifelong member of the Methodist
Church, Lew McGinnis also serves as the finance chairman of
Criminal Justice and Mercy Ministries (CJMM).
With ministries in nearly every prison in Oklahoma, CJMM was
established by the Oklahoma Conference of the United Methodist
Church. Dedicated to helping individuals who have been
incarcerated make a life for themselves outside of prison and to
supporting children with at least one incarcerated parent, the
organization was founded more than 25 years ago. Primarily
staffed by volunteers, CJMM has ministries that range from
Exodus House, a six-month residential rehabilitation program, to
Redemption Church, providing services specifically for people
who are starting new lives out of prison. Another program is New
Day Camp.
3. NEW DAY CAMP MINISTRY
A five-day camp, New Day Camp allows children with
one or more incarcerated parents to address their
feelings and needs in a supportive group
environment. Located near Lake Texoma, the camp
has sessions for children ages 8 through 11 and 12
through 14. Regardless of age, however, campers
participate in small groups and worship services, as
well as therapeutic games and traditional camp
activities. During camp, participants have the
opportunity to grow and share their hopes and
dreams. The camp is also fully staffed with nurses to
dispense medication and trained lifeguards and
professionals to ensure the campers are safe.
