2. The Mission of the Culinary Hall of Fame
Founded as The French Culinary Institute by Dorothy Cann Hamilton in 1984, the International
Culinary Center operates campuses in New York City, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Parma, Italy.
The courses offered by the school are focused on providing first-rate education that leads to real-world
opportunities. The International Culinary Center was inducted into the Culinary Hall of Fame in 2013,
becoming one of only six schools in the United States to attain the honor.
3. The Mission of the Culinary Hall of Fame
The mission of the Culinary Hall of Fame is to create a single and unified hall that encompasses every
aspect of the culinary field. Inductees run the gamut from chefs and restaurants to television shows,
authors, and culinary schools. In doing this, it presents one of the most comprehensive halls of fame
related to the culinary arts in the world.
4. The Mission of the Culinary Hall of Fame
Inductees are nominated either via the Culinary Hall of Fame’s website or through their Facebook
page and are chosen by a specially-selected member panel that consists of eleven culinary experts.
