Post Its were invented to solve the problem of bookmarking pages without damaging the book with adhesives or dogearing the pages.
Difference between post its and hersheys and tootsie roll is that a large corporation invented the post it. Entrepreneurs developed the candies.

Milton Hershey. Born in 1857 in PA. Only finished the 4th grade. Through trial and error, he created his own formula for milk chocolate. The first Hershey bar was produced in 1900. Hershey's Kisses were developed in 1907, and the Hershey's Bar with almonds was introduced in 1908. He wanted to make an affordable milk chocolate bar that everyone could enjoy regardless of wealth. At the time, chocolate bars were costly and primarily enjoyed by the affluent.

Leo Hirshfield immigrated from Austria and introduced Tootsie Rolls to the candy industry on February 23, 1896 from a small store in Brooklyn, NY. He named the candy after his daughter, Clara, whose nickname was Tootsie, and Leo was the first to individually wrap the candies. This novel idea revolutionized the candy industry and made Tootsie Rolls stand out among competitors’ candy because it they did not stick together and saved retailers time when trying to scoop candy from bulk containers. Hirshfield wanted to invent a chocolate that had a high melting point and did not stick together.

All of this is based on the Canadian show Dragons’ Den, which itself is based on a Japanese show called Tiger of Money, which aired from 2001 to 2004 and has subsequently grandfathered a relatively astonishing 25 licensed copycats both in countries whose commitment to enterprise make the spinoffs seem probable (Germany, Australia) as well as surprising (Afghanistan, Poland, Nigeria, Ukraine). The format’s the same in every version, but the names are wonderfully different; the Czech version’s called D-Day, the Slovenian version Good Deal, the Spanish Your Opportunity. (The Russian version is Kapital, and apparently one of the investors didn’t invest at all.) The Shark appellation is shared only by the U.S., Israel (The Sharks), and beautiful, beautiful Ukraine, whose spinoff is called Business Sharks.
Going to venture capitalists, banks, and other private lenders is one way young companies grow. However as they mature and require more capital they need to solicit grander sums safely and in shorter times. The capital markets enable this.

CNN says Russian fast food chain, Teremok, was among the 8 best fast food chains worldwide, with head, Michael Goncharov, saying the company’s home touch was a key to its success.
TagsMarkets, Russia and the global economy, Real sector
The Russian fast food operator has been in the market for 13 years, with 112 restaurants and 70 pavilions and kiosks now working in Moscow and St. Petersburg. CNN experts rated its traditional Russian blini with caviar – worth around $7.50 each – a champion dish.
Speaking on TV after the CNN rating Goncharov said all Teremok courses were tried and tasted in the home first, which was basically the secret of the high quality they offer and recognition they win.
“My true mother is entirely responsible for our cuisine. It’s not an invited chief cook but a person who cooks wonderful and fantastically delicious food. And all of our courses are initially created in a home kitchen, then the recipe moves on to technologists, and then she together with technologists creates mass production to maintain the taste. That should be a secret.”
Goncharov added the first priority for Teremok was Russian expansion.
