2.  Richard Romano, the brother of Ray Romano, has
established his career as an author and screenplay
writer. Among other works, Richard Romano wrote
and assisted in the production of the 2013 film The
Investigator.
The Investigator portrays the story of Sergeant James
Buanacore, a skilled detective, as he leaves the
police department following a complicated
narcotics case. Played by Wade Williams, Sergeant
Buanacore joins the staff of a Christian high school,
where he teaches criminal justice and coaches the
school’s baseball team, all in an effort to overcome
the pain of past events.

3.  After meeting continued opposition in his
new job, he embarks on a large-scale
investigation, with life-changing implications
for himself and for his students.
Since its release, The Investigator has
garnered success in DVD sales and digital
rentals through Walmart, iTunes, Amazon,
and Netflix. Producers have arranged for
the film’s foreign market release, and
Richard Romano is developing a TV pilot
based on the movie.
