1. The Intersected Circular Classrooms
There are so many ways to use Venn diagrams in the classroom that it can revolutionize the
ways students can study and learn subjects. It can also be a great tool for teachers to
expand their skills in all areas that require their lesson plans to examine the differences and
similarities of various topics. The diagram method makes distinctions between two or more
whole units of a lesson and then defines all the parts within each unit. This method forces the
thinking processes of teachers and students to discover all the visual and verbal elements. In
addition, the entire class can participate and share information according to each individual's
explorations.
An example of the mechanics involved in exploring the Venn diagram method for education
purposes would require first a visual representation of two circles that overlap each other.
One whole circle is labeled "chocolate ice cream" and the other whole circle is called "vanilla
ice cream." The qualities or descriptions that define each name are listed separately
according to the matching circle. The shared characteristics are listed in the area of the
intersection between the two circles. In set theory, this would be called the intersection of two
sets. In the ice cream example, it could be argued that the more accurate mechanical

cannot be accessed, classrooms can keep two empty intersecting circles on black or
whiteboards at all times for future topics and new discussions.

student with visual strengths has abilities for language, thoughts and images that can store
information quickly. However, a student lacking in memory functions and learning skills can
be taught to process information according to their way by allowing them to actively
participate in social environments and permitting them to distinguish between things that are
the same and things that are different. Venn diagrams offer all students and people to
become active learners and users, respectively, while at the same time, increase their
different levels of intelligence.
