Jaque the mother hen finds a huge amount of corn in the forest but doesn't know how to carry it all home. When she asks her neighbors Mr. Cat, Mr. Dog, and Mr. Duck for help, they all say they are too busy. Jaque and her chicks work together to carry the corn home themselves. The next day, Jaque bakes a delicious corn cake and the smell attracts the neighbors, but Jaque refuses to share at first before relenting.

Once the pie is done baking, the delicious smell attracts her friends, but Janny tells them they cannot eat the pie since they did not help with any of the work.
Outline of brief and preliminary ideas
1) The production portfolio will consist of a short film adaptation of Little Red Riding Hood, two ancillary products to support the film, a blog, and an evaluation.
2) The short film will be a modernized 5-minute version of Little Red Riding Hood set in a West Indian context, subverting conventions by having an athletic grandmother save the girl from the wolf.
3) The blog will document the filmmaking process and progress, and the evaluation will reflect on what went well and could be improved.
Junkyard Junction
This document is a letter written by the authors of a children's book to parents. It introduces the story by explaining that it teaches children about the value of friendship, helping others, and how change can be a positive experience. It then provides a 3 paragraph summary of the beginning of the story, where the main character Squirt's home is accidentally thrown away and he finds himself lost in a new place called Junkyard Junction.
Red riding hood - manuscript
Red Riding Hood was visiting her sick grandmother, taking cookies and milk in a basket. Along the way, she met a wolf who asked her where she was going. She continued on and arrived at her grandmother's house, where the wolf had already eaten the grandmother. The wolf tricked Red Riding Hood into thinking he was her grandmother until she noticed his big eyes, ears, and teeth. She escaped and found a woodsman, who saved her grandmother from the wolf. Red Riding Hood and her grandmother then had a nice lunch together.
Grade Three K to 12 - Compilation of English Stories (First Quarter)
The story describes a thirsty crow that is looking for water on a hot summer day. It finds a pitcher with a little water in it, but cannot reach the water as its beak is too big. It then gets the idea to drop stones into the pitcher, raising the water level until it can drink. The crow is able to solve its problem through clever thinking.

Finally, a young mouse appears and the Wall says mice are the most powerful as they can make holes in walls.

Jack lived with his poor widow mother and their dog Trigger who earned money by competing. When Trigger got hurt, Jack had to sell him at the market in exchange for magic beans. His mother was angry at the exchange. The next day a beanstalk had grown and Jack climbed it, meeting a giant's wife who warned of her husband. Jack took the giant's guitar and had to chop down the beanstalk to escape, solving his family's money problems with the valuable instrument.

Healing is the body’s response to injury in an attempt to restore normal structure and functions.
Healing can occur in two ways: Regeneration and Repair
There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.
Complications of wound healing like infection, hyperpigmentation of scar, contractures, and keloid formation.
