The great stone face was a prominent natural formation that the people of a valley were familiar with. Ernest grew up gazing at the stone face and wondering who would appear that resembled it. Over the years, two men - Gather Gold and Blood and Thunder - were thought to resemble the stone face but Ernest did not see the likeness. In his old age, a poet visiting Ernest realized that Ernest himself resembled the stone face in his character of wisdom, kindness and humility more than any other. The people agreed that Ernest was the likeness they had long awaited.
