As the technology becomes a natural augmentation of our physical relationships, virtual interactions are becoming less of a substitute for physical proximity and rather a mechanism to extend and augment intimacy (play/engagement/closeness) between humans and machines.
Humans are drawn to create and sustain intimate connections with each other. This goes beyond a partner sex bond and includes close friends, family and work colleagues. Technology will increasingly facilitate and strengthen these deep human emotional bonds.
These deep intimate connections are not limited to human to human subjects. Technology will also facilitate deep connection with machines, computers, devices and sensors embedded in our world.

Information technologies are in a stable level of change and break-through.We can see that
information technologies have brought great social changes compared to the past years before
they appeared.In the past days of disconnect,we plugged into each other\'s nervous system by
passing our books,on discussions with others and by sharing our thoughts and dreams.But
connectedness made one become others databases snd servers learning on eachother\'s
memories.The expanded technology increased the lenghts of people\'s thoughts with this
increasing world.It brought people\'s imaginations and thoughts into existence.
The effects of technology has to do with whether humans desire greater simplicity or complexity
as they progress. Many technology creators acclaim the value of convergence. While that might
severely reduce the number of ‘devices’ that we need and use, it also adds complexity to the task
of using a device.Alternately, people have written about how we desire purity, and will therefore
look for technologies that will do one thing, and do it extremely well. The challenge before
technology innovators, clearly, is to enable technologies to communicate with each other, and
sort problems out, the way humans do.Technology will enable diverse cultures to collaborate
more efficiently, in every sphere. It will bring people and organizations together, closer.
Technology will allow people to live multiple lives, assume and live out multiple
identities.Every day, as millions of people interact over the internet, they navigate worlds that are
simulated, they create virtual personalities, and forge online relationships. Fantasy and role-play,
both natural and important functions of child development, are fostered by adult chatrooms and
virtual reality. In a distributed, yet isolated world, people desire connections. In doing so, they
think not of identity but identity crises.
Technological world is a brilliant opportunity for global connections and it gives the exprience of
leading different lives and cultures.We must believe that internet brings us together as without
internet it is not so easy to communicate with eachother.But on the other hand, it does have some
negative effects on people, tearing them apart in way of face to face communication making such
relations undervalued.
Computers, or operating systems to be exact, are lacking in the the fundamental capabilities
possessed by all sentient systems: the ability to reason, to learn from observation and experience,
to grow intelectually over time. As of today, computers .

Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software FuzzingAftab Hussain
Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process.
In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.

I think culture will embrace that
Life used to be simple but as our world grew we lacked the technology to keep things simple. So we created ever more complex systems to fill the gap between the simple life we craved and the challenges we faced
For example coins replaced barter to enable trade and eventually currency in the form of Paper money evolved to solve the challenges of interacting with strangers across increasingly long distances. But now we’re starting to do away with money altogether.
But this seems to be something of a cycle, in line with growth we develop new technology that simplifies our world. (print/telegraph/phones/internet/social). The problem is that each major simplification stimulates growth.Things inevitably fragment and those very same technologies go on tp play a major part in making things more complicated again.
But don’t get too depressed, Hans Rosling data’s shows that standards of living have been improving.
The internet gave us simplicity but we have subverted that and often the uses we put it to are absurd.
And after a good start we seem to have done the same to social networks, I think facebook grew so fast because it simplified human relationshipsin a globalisedeconomy.But social media have grown exponentially and now most of us have dozens of logins/passwords/profiles and we’ve entered a world of big data.
Its easy to loose sight of yourself amongst all these layers of technology and commerce that we place between ourselves and each other.All this complexity is leading to an increasing tension and we’re already seeing trends toward turning social off
and a resurgence of interest in crafts and authenticity.
I think its only natural to associate this feeling of alienation with technology and thus to distrust technology and consider it dehumanising.
But I think there are two sides to this debate – and I myself sit on the side that is optimistic about the humanising role of technology whilst remaining very conscious that what we have right now sits counter to that ambition.
Indeed a lot of my work nowadays is tidying up the complex systems we have built on the web. After the internet introduced a vision of joyful simplicity we’ve gone and filled it all with digital landfill.
So it’s no surprise that my current obsession is that we’re on the cusp of the next big simplification, Last time I talked about the increasing prevalence of wi-fi, the increasing connectivity between objects and the web (IOT, RFID) and the increasing capability of devices to sense and interact with environments around them (glass/sensors). And I highlighted the potential convergence of these trends.Until now the internet has been imprisoned in wires and cables. We’re about to turn the internet inside out (invertion) and that’s going to unleash the full power of the next generation social web.
I think that the logical conclusion is that the world itself is going to become an operating system and our relationships with people, objects, environments and organisations, even technology itself, will become social by their very nature.
I think Google glass is just a stepping stone - Andrew was telling me about a doctor who’s experimenting with integrating technology and the human brain. He’s solving parkinsons right now but…I think our relationship with that world will involve augmenting ourselves with technology and introducing a layer of augmented reality overlaid on the world around us.
As an augmented data object in my own right I imagine authenticating and interacting with objects, devices, objects and organisations automatically, no more gates, currency or passwords
I anticipate simple relationships between augmented people and the world that are governed by sophisticated privacy protocols. One of the best ways of describing this was in a book called Quantum Thief by HanuRaikamen.
But so many people I’ve spoken to view this as scary (oh the humanity) and I guess what looks simple may not look simple to many. People may reject these digital appendages and of course there are many complications (PRISM) and Peter will no doubt introduce some very legitimate concerns in his talk. But I don’t think we should let fear of complexity prevent us from making the world more human. It’s a design challenge and I think that presented with a truly simple interface with this digital future we will recognise the benefits and instinctively seek to be more connected to the world around us.
