The 1st Week of Italian Cuisine in the World is an initiative of the Italian Government to promote the
excellence of Italian wines and food abroad. Between the 21st and 27th of November 2016, hundreds
of events on the Italian culinary tradition will take place all over the world, under the auspices of the Italian
Embassies: thematic workshops, screenings of food-related movies, tastings, master classes, etc.
As regards Cyprus, the Italian Embassy in Nicosia has invited some restaurateurs which are particularly
committed to Italian fine dining – with a high quality standard and a rigorous selection of ingredients -
to organize gastronomic and educational events.
Isolani Pizza Bar is among the partners of the Embassy for the organization in Cyprus of the 1st Week of
Italian Cuisine in the World and is pleased to present to the Cypriot public a rich programme of culinary
and gastronomic initiatives.
La prima Settimana della Cucina Italiana nel Mondo è un’iniziativa del governo italiano per la valoriz-
zazione all’estero dei prodotti enogastronomici e della cucina italiana di qualità. Dal 21 al 27 novembre
2016 si svolgeranno in tutto il mondo, con il coordinamento delle ambasciate italiane, centinaia di
eventi legati alla tradizione culinaria italiana: incontri tematici, proiezione di film italiani legati al cibo e
alla cucina, degustazioni, “master class” ecc.
Per quanto riguarda Cipro, l’Ambasciata a Nicosia ha invitato alcuni ristoratori impegnati a valorizzare
la tradizione culinaria ed agroalimentare italiana, con un elevato livello qualitativo ed una accurata
selezione delle materie prime, ad organizzatore eventi di degustazione e di formazione.
Isolani Pizza Bar è tra i partner dell’Ambasciata nella realizzazione a Cipro della prima Settimana della
Cucina Italiana nel Mondo, ed è lieto di proporre al pubblico cipriota un ricco programma di iniziative
culinarie e gastronomiche.

Program of events hosted by “Isolani Pizza Bar”
on the occasion of the First Week of the Italian Cuisine Worldwide
(21 to 27 November 2016)
Monday, NOVEMBER 21 | 7:00 p.m.
“OSTERIA ITALIA”
“Norcinerie” (special cured meats)- and beyond, in the best Umbrian tradition.
The evening will be opened by Counselor Tommaso Coniglio, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Italy in Cyprus, and followed by a brief introduction
on the Italian Cuisine Week Worldwide and on Umbrian Cuisine.
Cost: €30,00 per person (children under 10 years old enter free).
Tuesday, NOVEMBER 22 | 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
WINE TASTING
Wine Tasting with a rich selection of wines from different Italian regions.
Cost: €20,00 per person.
Wednesday, NOVEMBER 23 | 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
PASTA
Theoretical and practical lessons on the preparation of fresh pasta by the chef Lucia Grasso.
Cost: €10,00 per person.
Thursday, NOVEMBER 24 | 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
TIRAMISU
Theoretical and practical lessons on the preparation of the Tiramisu by the chef Giuseppe Cerrone.
Cost: €10,00 per person.
Friday, NOVEMBER 25 | 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
“LE MANI IN PASTA” (“HANDS ON PASTA!”)
For children 6-12 years old.
Children from the age of 6-12 years will work with the pizza chef Massimo Mattiacci to prepare the dough for the pizza, which they will then be able
to bring home.
Cost: €10,00 per child. Price includes one glass of wine.
Sunday, NOVEMBER 27 | 1:00 p.m.
SARDINIAN DELUX SUNDAY LUNCH
Isolani Pizza Bar presents: Restaurant “Sante Rughe” of Gavoi.
The week of Italian cuisine will conclude with a lunch prepared by two award-winning Sardinian chefs of the restaurant “Sante Rughe” of Gavoi. The
event will be opened by H.E. Guido Cerboni, Ambassador of Italy to Cyprus.
Cost: €40,00 per person (children under 10 years old enter free). Price includes drinks.

Between the 21st and 27th of November 2016, hundreds of events on the Italian culinary tradition will take place all over the world, under the auspices of the Italian Embassies: thematic workshops, screenings of food-related movies, tastings, master classes, etc. As regards Cyprus, the Italian Embassy in Nicosia has invited some restaurateurs which are particularly committed to Italian fine dining – with a high quality standard and a rigorous selection of ingredients - to organize gastronomic and educational events. Isolani Pizza Bar is among the partners of the Embassy for the organization in Cyprus of the 1st Week of Italian Cuisine in the World and is pleased to present to the Cypriot public a rich programme of culinary and gastronomic initiatives. La prima Settimana della Cucina Italiana nel Mondo è un’iniziativa del governo italiano per la valoriz- zazione all’estero dei prodotti enogastronomici e della cucina italiana di qualità. Dal 21 al 27 novembre 2016 si svolgeranno in tutto il mondo, con il coordinamento delle ambasciate italiane, centinaia di eventi legati alla tradizione culinaria italiana: incontri tematici, proiezione di film italiani legati al cibo e alla cucina, degustazioni, “master class” ecc. Per quanto riguarda Cipro, l’Ambasciata a Nicosia ha invitato alcuni ristoratori impegnati a valorizzare la tradizione culinaria ed agroalimentare italiana, con un elevato livello qualitativo ed una accurata selezione delle materie prime, ad organizzatore eventi di degustazione e di formazione. Isolani Pizza Bar è tra i partner dell’Ambasciata nella realizzazione a Cipro della prima Settimana della Cucina Italiana nel Mondo, ed è lieto di proporre al pubblico cipriota un ricco programma di iniziative culinarie e gastronomiche. THE EXTRAORDINARY ITALIAN TASTE Program of events hosted by “Isolani Pizza Bar” on the occasion of the First Week of the Italian Cuisine Worldwide (21 to 27 November 2016) Monday, NOVEMBER 21 | 7:00 p.m. “OSTERIA ITALIA” “Norcinerie” (special cured meats)- and beyond, in the best Umbrian tradition. The evening will be opened by Counselor Tommaso Coniglio, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Italy in Cyprus, and followed by a brief introduction on the Italian Cuisine Week Worldwide and on Umbrian Cuisine. Cost: €30,00 per person (children under 10 years old enter free). Tuesday, NOVEMBER 22 | 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. WINE TASTING Wine Tasting with a rich selection of wines from different Italian regions. Cost: €20,00 per person. Wednesday, NOVEMBER 23 | 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. PASTA Theoretical and practical lessons on the preparation of fresh pasta by the chef Lucia Grasso. Cost: €10,00 per person. Thursday, NOVEMBER 24 | 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. TIRAMISU Theoretical and practical lessons on the preparation of the Tiramisu by the chef Giuseppe Cerrone. Cost: €10,00 per person. Friday, NOVEMBER 25 | 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. “LE MANI IN PASTA” (“HANDS ON PASTA!”) For children 6-12 years old. Children from the age of 6-12 years will work with the pizza chef Massimo Mattiacci to prepare the dough for the pizza, which they will then be able to bring home. Cost: €10,00 per child. Price includes one glass of wine. Sunday, NOVEMBER 27 | 1:00 p.m. SARDINIAN DELUX SUNDAY LUNCH Isolani Pizza Bar presents: Restaurant “Sante Rughe” of Gavoi. The week of Italian cuisine will conclude with a lunch prepared by two award-winning Sardinian chefs of the restaurant “Sante Rughe” of Gavoi. The event will be opened by H.E. Guido Cerboni, Ambassador of Italy to Cyprus. Cost: €40,00 per person (children under 10 years old enter free). Price includes drinks.

Selection of cheese. Fiore Sardo ( local aged pecorino cheese ) Two types of Pecorino with Mirto and Thyme (sheep milk cheese flavored with mirto berries and thyme herb). Sa Purpuzza Diced pig meat, marinated for a least one night with white wine vinegar, salt, paper and then pan cooked. Le Favette Fava bean, local bean typical of Sardinia, cooked with milk and mint leaves. Primi Piatti( First Course ) Ravioli di Formaggio Raviolipastafilledwithfreshcheeseandservedwithtomatosauce. Maharrines Curzos, Local Sardinian gnochetti pasta served with ricotta, saffron and mint leaves. Secondi Piatti( Main Course ) Maialetto arrosto Roasted piglet with roasted potatoes.
