There are some types of
economic systems in the world
today. All of them have their
essential features. Today, I will
talk about the mixed economy.
And I want to take the economic
system of Japan as an example of
this type.
On the example of this country I
will try to show the main features
of the mixed economy and
economy of Japan in general.

4. The «Japanese model» as an example of the
mixed economy
Today, we can see Japan as a very economically successful country.
The beginning of building this strong economy began because of
many adverse factors, which appeared after the Second World War.
This situation made Japan to develop speedily and ahead many
countries in developing.

5. The main features of the «Japanese model»
The «Japanese model» is the model of the controlled
corporate capitalism.

In these model you can see the opportunities of capital
accumulation, which mixed with the active public policy
and special social significant of the corporate start.

The government control the private companies and
enterprises. Small businesses play the major role in
different types of enterprises.
 The strict adherence to the decrees of the senior officials.


The mixed economy is a very difficult system of many
economic processes. One of the types of mixed
economy, Japanese economy, shows us that it is true.
On the example of this country we can see how it is
difficult to keep under the control all the processes,
which connected with the economy.
