THE DREAM TEEN
The mission: of our agency is to allow youth and children alike to discover their inner self, esteem and expression
through intellectual activities, fun filled outings, daily living skills, education and services provided by fully capacitated
adults, tutors, counselors, instructors, and educators.

Our goal: Is to teach and reaffirm simple living and self-sufficiency by giving up all electronic devices and communication
with the outside world. Encouraging various ways of having fun and enjoying life with direct human contact and social
interaction and communication.

By providing a full range program for youth and children will minimize the dangers of today’s society. A child left home
alone may have contact with strangers, peers, and friends that do not have their best interest in mind. There are well
known scenarios that we are aware of across the nation and the world that give us true and actual facts of the risks of
adults sexually harassing/ abusing teenagers through the Internet and cell phones. If you don’t think this may be
happening to your teenager or child, ask if they have unknown friends in their website lists and we propose you actually go
through all the names yourself. Ask your child to allow you access of their account. If your child becomes defensive, the
question is why?

“I would have never thought that my Christian raised daughter would ever expose herself to strangers although we talked
about this so many times”.

“When I came home one night, our neighbor told us that our teenager allowed a guy into the house”.

“If I can advise every parent out there I would let them know that because my son was left home alone, he was introduced
to drugs. While I was at work, some of his friends came and drove off with him. Who knows what he was doing. All I can say
is that if there was a program like the Dream Teen it would have kept him busy and supervised and probably help him stay
far from the wrong crowd”.

It is known that in order to change certain habits you

youth are craving the attention and we know exactly
                                                                           how to empower them.
We offer:
Home pick up/drop off Snacks Homework assistance Interactive age appropriate activities

We do not want to be called a childcare center but rather the Dream Teen! The reason is because we do not stay in one
building. Youth do not like to stay stagnant in one place day after day and waiting to be picked up by a parent. They want to
interact, go out and have fun and of course be dropped off at home. We respect youth and their feelings of fitting into
today’s society and we put effort in doing the things they would do with their friends.

Activities included are:
Bowling Walking in the mall Swimming Playing sports Going to Movie theatres

Bon-fire fun Frankies Walmart / Target / Kmart Shoe stores Recreation Centers

Block-Buster Parks Dinner at a restaurant Ice cream shops Arts/Craft activities

Library/Bookstore Pet Shops Flying airplanes / kites Riding Bikes Skateboard/skating

Cook out Card playing McDonald’s / Burger King * *

(*We also take youth suggestions into consideration so long as they are appropriate)

Volunteering / Cooperativeness
We take great pride in what we do but we cannot do it alone therefore we ask for your help, assistance or donation.

We do not charge a fee to allow the youth in our community to participate in this program regardless of the home income
however becoming involved is a much needed support. At the same time your pre-teen or teen will experience what
collaboration is all about.

Donations for this project is greatly needed and appreciated.

Our Community as a Whole
As our country’s economy accommodates, we feel the need to round up some of the major issues of parents and
reasons they are not employed. Especially for single parents this program will help you by releasing the guilt of
leaving your child home alone. So whether you are working or looking for work the Dream teen is here to help
rebuild our economy by giving parents the peace of mind and the time to work.
