• THE DISTORTION FESTIVAL is the 2nd event in the annual series of metal
events initiated by Cacophony networks in the year 2012.
• The popularity of Rock/ Metal genres amongst the Indian youth has depicted
commendable growth in recent years.
• THE DISTORTION FESTIVAL is nothing but an effort by us to send them a
message, translated in a language they speak, understand & appraise i.e.,
MUSIC.
• This event will be a launch-pad to promote the upcoming budding talents on a
larger scale and to showcase their skills.

presence oN Facebook. Attendance would gain a considerably boost.
- The YouTube channel would showcase jamming videos and
interviews of the artists and also behind the scenes footage of the

Our Very first event, Pandemonium – The
Uprising was a very huge success both
online and offline.
Hosted at Café Morrison on the 9th
December 2012, a crowd of over 300
strong attended the ‘underground’
metal mayhem unleashed by the line-ups
for the night.
