organizations, including Vitamin Angels and Cops 4
Causes. The latter organization, created by peace officers,
remains dedicated to raising funds to meet the needs of
members of the law enforcement community and their

One of the primary Cops 4 Causes programs, the Fallen
Heroes Fund provides for the families of peace officers,
active duty military members, and firefighters who lost their
lives trying to protect others. Because Cops 4 Causes is a
nonprofit and not a memorial fund, it is able to channel all
donations directly to the families of those who have lost
their lives while offering tax breaks for donors.

3.  Law enforcement and first responder agencies
have the option to work with Cops 4 Causes to
develop a crowdsourcing page to raise money for
individuals who have been killed or seriously
injured in the line of duty.
Alongside the Fallen Heroes Fund, Cops 4 Causes
operates several other funds, including the Family
Fund, which raises money for the children of first
responders who face terminal illnesses or who
need treatments not covered by insurance.
