- 65. Mystery Skype In oneof our ICT lessons, Mrs. Murch set up a mystery Skype. We had no idea who we were linking up with, so we asked questions about where we thought she was from. We found out that her name was Mariko Eguchi. She lives in the Shimane Prefecture, Japan. We found out that the school she was at only served one dish at their canteen- Curried Rice

- 73. We started offwith mystery Skype, once we had figured where they were, we started showing each other what we eat for breakfast.

- 77. International friendship day Internationalfriendship day a special United Nations day on the first Sunday of August. The lesson was aimed to make new friends in other countries. We connected up with students from Ipoh, Perak in Malaysia. There were 35, 16 year old student in the class that we talked with. We used the chat and comments area to talk to each other.
- 78. Some of thethings we talked about How many subjects do you have in Malaysia? We have 10 subjects here in Malaysia We have English, Bahasa Melayu(our national language),Chinese, Additional Math, Modern Math, Science(Biology, Chemistry, Physics), History(very boring T^T) and Moral Education

- 81. What I liked………… •I liked that they were from a different country. It was very interesting to learn a little about them and their culture.
- 82. What we havelearnt We have also leant how to use Skype safely. We have added as many posts to our blogs a possible. When using Skype, we have leant how to communicate with a web camera. We have also learnt that when talking on Skype you have to speak clearly and loudly so the people on the other end can hear.
- 83. What next???? We wouldlove to continue doing this sort of thing, we love linking up with people from all over the globe. We are always interested in where people are from and their way of life. We love comparing what we do with other countries.
