In the beginning it wasn’t like that.
Man was created to walk with God. And he did until the
day he turned his back on God.
Adam ate from the tree that God told him not to eat from.
Gen. 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and
evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest
thereof thou shalt surely die.

Adam chose to eat from the tree that day and became
separated from God.
