The Artist and the Engineer – Turning STEM into STEAM (Grades K - 8) What are the connections between STEM and Art? This hands-on session will provide relevant experiences that demonstrate how art disciplines can be integrated into STEM to make it STEAM. By immersing yourself in a fun, creative world you will learn how to take Math, Science and STEM Design Challenges to the next level by adding an artist’s touch. The workshop has a workstation format where activities are based on 2D, 3D, and technology applications.

- 4. Artist Match Up •Each of you will be given ½ of a famous painting. •You will have 3 minutes to find your match. •Once you find your match, discuss: How does your piece of art reflect STEM? 4
