Rainforest

Pictures of the Rainforest
Location
The Amazon Rainforest is
located in 9 different countries
but the majority of it (around
60%) is located in Brazil. The rest
of it can be found in Peru,
Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia,
Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname,
and French Guiana (which is
technically an overseas territory).
Climate
The climate of the Amazon
remains tropical and hot
throughout all 365 days of the
year. Mostly, the temperature is
around 27 degrees Celsius but it
can be different between
months. Due to the same
temperature at most of the
times, there are no proper
winter and summer seasons.
Animals in the Rainforest
Some animals found in the Rainforest
are monkeys, sloths, jaguars, lemurs,
frogs, snakes, lizards, butterflies, moths,
hummingbirds, eagles, owls, macaws,
quetzals.
Plants in the Rainforest
Some plants found in the rainforest are orchids,
rubber trees, venus fly traps, passion flowers, peace
lilies, brazil nut trees, passion fruits, lianas, birds of
paradise, strangler fig and quinine.
THANK YOU!
